Initial Teacher Education in North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire
There are a range of routes that are available for prospective teachers to train and become a teacher within the region. Below you will find links to the ITE providers that serve North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.
Train to Teach Event | Wednesday 6th December 2023
L.E.A.D Teaching School Hub, DRET Teaching School Hub and the Department for Education are working in partnership with ten local ITT providers, to promote primary and secondary initial teacher training in Lincolnshire and North/North East Lincolnshire.
Please join us on: Wednesday 6th December, 3-7pm, at the Hilton Hotel, Brayford Wharf North, Lincoln LN1 1YW
During the afternoon/evening ITT providers will be available to discuss training options, for those interested in entering teaching in the primary and secondary sectors. There is a chance to speak face to face and ask questions to suit your own individual needs, in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Across the afternoon/evening we have a series of events hosted by experts in their field to help those needing support with the application process and bursary/scholarship information.

- 4 pm: DfE Advisor talk - how to use the Apply system, bursaries and financial support
- 5 pm: DfE Advisor talk (repeated from 4pm)
- 6 pm: Expert panel discussion, hosted by local providers, school leaders and past trainees offering their perspectives.
Outside of these times, there will be chance for people to mingle, chat to providers, have a complimentary hot drink and cookie and seek support from the Department for Education Advisor
