Why Teacher "Buy-In" Matters for Retention
The Department for Education have announced that they are continuing to offer tax-free bursaries of £29,000 in chemistry, computing, mathematics, and physics. Scholarships worth £31,000 tax-free will be offered in chemistry, computing, and physics, and a £22,000 tax-free scholarship for French, German and Spanish.
The Department are also offering a £20,000 tax-free bursary for design & technology and languages. £5,000 tax-free bursaries will be available in biology and geography.
Bursaries and scholarships to all non-UK national trainees in languages and physics continue to be offered.
Also continuing to be offered is grant funding for up to 150 mathematics trainees completing a Teacher Degree Apprenticeship (TDA).
