School Direct Partnerships with David Ross Education Trust

We offer the School Direct unsalaried routes into teacher training. These courses follow the training route of a 'traditional' PGCE. We offer Primary and Secondary routes through the University of Hull and Bishop Grosseteste University and Primary only routes through Northampton University.

To see our wide-range of courses and offer, we can be found on the Department for Education Teacher Training course search via this link here.

All courses can be applied for from October 2022 on the DfE Teacher Training portal and there is a tuition fee that is paid directly to the appropriate university.

As part of the course you will have at least two placements in two schools and will be supported by in-school mentors. You will also attend university for lectures regarding research in education and pedagogy, and complete assignments as part of the PGCE qualification.
